Hospital Bag Checklist
I always felt things got pretty real at the time you think: "I best get packing that bag"! First time round I put it off for ages, not exactly sure why, I guess there's no need to have it packed really early but I think part of it was because I couldn't even be bothered having to think about what to put in it. I just wanted someone to present me with the bag and say right leave this right here until you're ready to go and then pick it up and simply get in the car and make your way to the hospital...but we all know it doesn't always go quite as smoothly as that! So best to be prepared!
Second time round I had my bag packed much earlier and knew exactly what to put in it and what not to. This time it was most definitely filled with more stuff for me and less for the baby and I think I packed it in about 10 minutes flat. Mainly because second time round you're not half as bothered...it's true...and you have in your mind the main priorities for what you're going to need and simply go round gathering them up supermarket sweep style.
So what better than a list with all the actual essentials on, rather than a list of absolutely everything a baby might ever need that will just leave you with an overpacked and heavy bag (hopefully the weight won't matter as you won't be having to carry it yourself). I always prayed for a quick in and out and I was lucky enough to have my wishes granted twice over but it's not always a short visit so best to be prepared for the long haul.
Simply right click on the list to save a copy of the image, get it printed and get ticking off as you pack - hopefully you should then be very nearly there! x
